The service for King Louis-Philippe at the château de Neuilly was commissioned from the Manufacture de Sèvres on 8 December 1835. Paid for out of Louis-Philippe's personal kitty, it is described as having a "white background, flower boudins, friezes and rosettes printed in gold".
