Note: these chairs, from Jean Prouvé’s personal collection, were transmitted by descent to one of his granddaughters, and were at one point lacquered in a cream color. This posterior layer was carefully removed in order to find the original paint and color, most likely unique and chosen by Jean Prouv himself. The restauration process is documented and its details can be provided upon request.
