Note : From 1939 to 1943, Jean Metzinger and Suzanne Phocas moved from Paris to Bandol in the south of France. The seaside was a source of inspiration for many of their works. Some of them, like "Passage à Sanary" from 1942, were recently exhibited in Paris.
