Very rare incense-burner in silver (800‰) and vermillion, translucent green enamel on a guilloche background, with flower garland painted in fin gold, with three friezes, one in green and white enamel, the other two in chiseled silver with foliage pattern
The base and lid in sculpted gray agate, handle adorned with a 'sugraloaf' cabochon amethyst
The inside with a guilloche and gilded base with a glass flask holding the cotton wick
Unsigned, numbered 2451, fineness mark (boar's head) and Master silversmith's hallmark Mathey et Cie
