Ferdinand Barbedienne worked in close collaboration with Louis Antoine Barye and affixed a gold stamp bearing the initials 'FB', for Ferdinand Barbedienne, known as the 'cachet or', whose works can be dated between 1876 and 1889. This stamp is also a guarantee of the quality of the sculpture and the patina.
