Note : Restoration following damage to the resin caused by the positioning of the sculpture. Large cracks in the polyester resin. The interior of the sculpture was therefore visible (newspaper, cotton, b/w photographs). The restoration was carried out under the supervision of Professor Iwona Szmelter, co-author of the book "The Innovative Approaches Of Complex Care For Alina Szapocznikow Legacy with Case Studies. New Insight Into Preservation Theory Of Contemporary Art". This restoration involves :
-Consolidation of the cracks in the polyester resin with drops of cyanoacrylate adhesive to obtain good cohesion and stability of the material.
-Filling the gaps in the polyester resin by adding cotton fibre to the lower part of the sculpture.
-Consolidation of the addition of cotton fibre with cyanoacrylate-based adhesive drops.
-Filling cracks and gaps on the surface of the sculpture using polyester resin diluted with acetone.
-Addition of anti-UV product.
-Application of anti-dust spray.
