Old restorations
Son of painter Jacob Van Oolen, Adriaen Van Oolen, following his father’s footsteps, painted birds; they were thus often confused for one another. Admirer of Melchior d’Hondecoeter, he also painted landscapes and still-lifes. His style always displays great realism.
