With the total result approaching four million euros, including buyers' fees, PIASA is reinforcing its role as a leader in the sphere of design. This result illustrates the prominent position of French design in this specialty.

During the auction, bidders' interest focused on major creations by emblematic figures.

Highlights of the auction included a sofa and a pair of armchairs by Jean Royère (lot 64) sold for €367,200, a ‘Library table’ by Pierre Jeanneret (lot 106) sold for €78,000, and a pair of stools by Jean-Michel Frank (lot 10) sold for€95,200. Finally, Jean Prouvé model 'BA12' (lot 120)  realized €221,000 - representing 2.45 times its high estimate.
